Google’s Santa Tracker Engaged! Flight of The Jolly One Revealed!
"For the next day, you can visit the Google Santa Tracker to see where Santa’s headed next and keep tabs on how many presents he’s delivered," Google announced in a blog post. "You can also keep up with him on your smartphone and tablet with the Android app, in your browser with the the Chrome extension, and even in 3D with Google Earth and Google Earth mobile (look for it in the Tour Guide feature with the latest version of Google Earth)."
In other words, Google has upped the ante for Santa enthusiasts who like to follow his travels on Christmas Eve. It's a neat tool that, with a click of the mouse, details important statistics, such as Santa's previous location, his next destination, how long it will be until he arrives there, how many presents he's delivered, distance traveled, and his status (a mood checker, if you will). At present, Santa's delivered more than 547 million gifts as he heads out of Singapore, according to Google.
Alternately, you can also track Santa via NORAD, which recently added support for Windows 8.
