Google Tweaks Search Results Pages With a New Look
How is your Google search page different now than it was hours ago? In a nutshell, all those categories (including Web, Images, Maps, and so on) that used to be on the left side of the page in a vertical orientation are now tucked under the search bar in a horizontal layout.
If you want to see more advanced features, click Advanced Search to bring up more filtering options.
The move is an effort on Google’s part to create a more unified search experience across all manner of devices, which include tablets and smartphones with a variety of screen sizes.
