Samsung Previews Upcoming Galaxy Note 9 'Unpacked' Event With Three Teaser Videos

Samsung is set to unveil to the world its latest device on August 9th in New York: the Galaxy Note 9. We already know a lot about the device thanks to multiple leaks. We already know what the Galaxy Note 9 will look like and that Samsung is alleged targeting a very high price for the smartphone. Today, Samsung is teasing the device in the form of three videos that show different aspects of the daily use of a smartphone that the Note 9 will presumably improve on.

The videos focus on storage space, battery life, and how fast the smartphone operates. The catchphrase in each of the videos is “A lot can change in a day.” Samsung’s first video shows people dealing with poor battery life, something that the Galaxy Note 9 will reportedly be able to improve upon with its rumored 4,000 mAh battery. The insinuation here is that the Note 9 will last all day on a charge.

The second video that talks about storage space is much the same. It shows people trying to download things and not having enough space to do so. They are forced to delete photos and other media to have more room for downloaded content. Rumors have suggested that the base Galaxy Note 9 would have 128GB of storage and the up-level version would offer 512GB.

The third video shows people grappling with devices that are slow to download files. Again, the insinuation is that the Note 9 will be fast compared to its competitors. How much faster remains a mystery considering that Samsung will be working with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and Snapdragon X20 LTE modem as the other Android flagships currently on the market.

We're definitely eager to see what Samsung will have in store for us on August 9th, and HotHardware will be live to cover the event. So be sure to check back for some high quality photos and hands-on footage of Samsung's latest and greatest smartphone.
