Dropbox Sets Itself Apart With First-Ever DBX Developer Conference
Now, the company is hosting its first-ever developer conference. The DBX conference will be held at Fort Mason in San Francisco on July 9th. Tickets are “limited” and will cost $350.
“At DBX, you’ll meet fellow developers, see the great things they’re building, and share ideas with the engineers and designers working on Dropbox’s API,” reads a post announcing the event. “But most importantly, you’ll be the first to learn about new products that will make developing on Dropbox even easier.”
It’s anyone’s guess what Dropbox has in store, but it’s notable that the service has grown to the point that it warrants its own developer event. There are plenty of competitors in the cloud market, not to mention a lot of Dropbox clones, but this is the sort of thing that makes Dropbox stand out from the crowd.
