Diablo 4 Leaks Claim Game Pays Homage To Classic Diablo 2
The story is said to feature the former ally Lilith as the antagonist and to have locations that are toned down from past titles. The leaker says that the environments in the game are more interactive, and they are "infrequently laid with corpses, wasteland, greyish deserts, cult caves surrounded by flesh, rotten crypts, marshes and bogs, plagued cities."
Three playable classes are tipped in the leak, including Barbarian, Mage, and Druid. Players will get to enjoy ridable mounts, four-player co-op action, and the game will feature skills that come directly from Diablo 2. BlizzCon kicks off today, and we should know later today if the leak is accurate. Details from the Reddit leak have been confirmed by Daniel Ahmad on Twitter, who is said to be a reputable insider.
This lines up with everything I've heard about Diablo IV.

The game is shaping up well and is definitely what fans would want out of the game. Takes what people loved about D2 style, improves on D3 combat. https://t.co/5aXaQk528M
Diablo 4 has been in the works for years. In June of this year, reports indicated that Blizzard had killed off a StarCraft FPS game to focus on Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2. Earlier this week, there was a leak ahead of BlizzCon that focused on Overwatch 2. The leak offered details of the new PvE mode and an all-new Map. The leak tipped a new mode called "Push" that will be part of the game along with the other modes from the first title.
