Chromecast Adds More Awesomeness with HBO GO Support
Since its launch, Chromecast has drawn support from Hulu Plus and Pandora, a couple of key third-party services. As time goes on, even more services will step to the plate, stretching that initial $35 investment for a simple streaming device into a steal for a robust dongle.

Case in point, HBO GO has just been added to the growing list of third-party services jumping on the Chromecast bandwagon. Access to all four seasons of "Eastbound & Down" starring Danny McBride's brilliant role as Kenny Powers, a washed up baseball pitcher trying to regain fame and fortune, is reason enough to be excited. And of course there are other original shows like "Game of Thrones," "Boardwalk Empire," and "Girls" that make this an awesome addition.
"To start casting from HBO GO, just check that you have the latest version of the app for Android or iOS. You can also cast from hbogo.com using Chrome browser on your laptop or any Chromebook. The mobile and web apps will be rolling out over the next few days," Google stated in a blog post.
Several other streaming services are currently in development, such as Twitch.tv, Vimeo, Redbox Instant, VEVO, and more.
