Apple Talks about White iPhone 4 Delay, Says Nothing
"White models of Apple's new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year," Apple said in a statement. "The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected."
And that's all Apple had to say on the matter. No explanation as to why exactly the white iPhone 4 is so "challenging" to manufacturer or why this tricky design phase isn't affecting the black models. Just two, woefully uninformative sentences that, when translated, says "go pound sand."
Of course, you could always pick up a black model and paint the device yourself, or, I don't know, get a phone that works? Just a suggestion.
