Apple Offers Japan Quake Victims Free Repairs
It only applies to customers living in areas covered by Japan's Ministry of Health's Disaster Relief Act. It excludes standard (non-iPod touch) iPods, including the classic, nano and shuffle.
The offer was quietly posted in March. It's another offer by a high-tech company to help those affected by the massive earthquake and tsunami that took place on March 11, 2011. Ironically, that was the same day as the launch of the iPad 2.
