Angry Birds ‘Epic’ Leak Screen Shots Shows Turn-Based RPG Medieval Gaming Fun
The new Angry Birds game won't be like any other you've played before. According to information and artwork obtained by Angry Birds Nest, the Epic release will be a turn-based RPG, as opposed to flinging your fowl at structures on opposite ends of the screen.
Angry Birds Epic will also be free to download and play. Doing so will give you access to an assortment of weapons, including the ones you craft, like a "wooden sword, frying pan, or stick thingy with a sponge on top." Serious stuff here, folks!
As you play through the game, you'll be able to level up your characters, as well as their armor, weapons, and potions. At present, Rovio has revealed two character classes (there will likely be more) -- Knight (Red Bird) and Mage (Yellow Bird).
Once again, Rovio is planning to launch the game in Australia and Canada before going global.
