Looks like Microsoft just popped another feather in its cap. As the company strives to expand its Windows Store to include some of the AAA applications that iPhone and Android users already enjoy, Rhapsody just joined the Windows Phone fray. The company's new WP8 app most certainly looks the part, fitting in quite nicely with the standard WP trimmings. Moreover, the app boasts more than just good looks. It adds offline downloads, and integrates nicely from an OS level. The premium version of the service will still run you $10/month, but if you're one of the Rhapsody faithful that have been holding... Read more...

Performing certain actions will get you sent to the 'Big House' no matter where you live. Taking another person's life, for example. Robbing a bank. Stampeding across town in a drunken stupor without your clothes on at three o'clock in the afternoon (trust us on this one). But in Tennessee, you could be locked up for logging into your buddy's Netflix account and watching an episode of The Twilight Zone. According to a report in The Tennessean, state lawmakers passed a new bill endorsed by Gov. Bill Haslam that, come July 1, will make it a crime to use someone's login information to watch movies... If there's ever been an iPhone app that runs a good chance of being blocked at the point of entry, it's this. Real has just submitted its Rhapsody app to the App Store for approval, and if it passes, it'll bring an all new source of music to iPhone users everywhere. In fact, it'll be the "fully on-demand subscription music library app on the iPhone," but of course, one could easily argue that this functionality is already available through the iTunes app. Particularly if you're getting your checks from Apple. If all goes well, users will get full access to Rhapsody's eight million songs, all of... Read more...
