Motorola Mobility to Launch LTE Phone with Edge-to-Edge Display This Week
According to a Bloomberg report, Motorola is going to unveil a new phone with Verizon wireless that will run Android and feature LTE capabilities, and it’s possible that the model will be the Motorola Droid RAZR HD.

The phone’s killer feature may be a purported edge-to-edge display. A bezel-less phone is a beautiful thing, as it both offers the largest possible display for the device’s size and looks amazing.
Motorola (and every other phone maker) will need to leverage every appealing feature it can develop to compete with the latest iPhone, which Apple is likely to debut at a September 12th event.

a Besel-less phone would be an anomaly in the phone industry and would definitely garner attention from would be phone buyers. If the Razr can compete with the iphone with its specs, the Bezel-less display would give it an edge, and motorola should see an increase in revenue and market share. |

I really cant wait to see this phone, but im wondering what kinda cases will be made to protect it without being intrusive to the screen. As a dad with a toddler this phone might not be for me. |

I am also veryyyyyy interested in seeing this phone and I hate Moto phones. I can imagine just holding what looks like a bare screen in my hand. Like Atticus suggested, case designs would be difficult for a phone like this unless it's one of those cases that just clicks on the back side. Either way I am also picturing this thing easily breaking when dropped, with or without a protector. I was excited for the wp8 designs but this phone might actually be the next sexy gadget. |
