Verizon Wireless Continues To Expand 4G LTE Network

Earlier this year, Verizon Wireless set out to cover more than 400 markets with its 4G LTE network by the end of the year. With the addition of 33 new markets and the expansion in 32 additional markets, the wireless carrier appears to be right on track to reach that goal. Starting today, Verizon Wireless customers in a total of 337 markets will have access to 4G LTE service. Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network offers average data rates of 5 to 12 Mbps on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink.
