Hollywood Strikes Back

The Motion Pictures Association of America (MPAA) has struck out at pirates yet again, and we're not talking about the Jack Sparrow variety of pirates here.  We're talking about the kind that put expensive movies on the 'net for all to view for no price.

Perhaps the most interesting piece of news in this story is that the MPAA not only filed suit against a site here in the states, but also one on the other side of the world:

“The domain search also indicated cinematube.net's servers are located in Malaysia. The site averages more than 24,000 unique users each day who view more than 85,000 pages of content.

Servers for ssupload.com are located in Arizona and average 55,000 unique daily visitors who view more than 190,000 pages of content per day.”

The sites are said to have had the very latest movies, and the damages to theaters and the movie industry is getting higher with each passing day.
