  • a new LCD, what to buy

I have a question. The Hyundai L90D+ 19in screen is a great screen of course, but does anybody know how it compares with a Samsung 930B? I'm in decision mode between these two monitors. Tom's Hardware discussed the Hyundai L90D+ a lot and did get the editor's choice award like you mentioned. Tom's Hardware hasnothing in regards to the Samsung 930B.

  • Need 2 LCDs

Looks like a sweet monitor and you will have quite a dreamy setup with those two graphics cards. Tell me how it goes if you ever get all those together. With those monitors, there is no doubt that you will be emersed in the game. Good Choice, little pricy.

  • Monitor Response Times

I'm afraid the 4ms Monitors came at a too great of sacrifice for the quality of the picture. I was reading up on Tom's Hardware and discovered between three high-end gaming monitors, all relatively close: the BenQ FP937s+, the Hyundai L90D+, and the much-awaited Samsung 913N. Of all these, they choose the Hyundai L90D+ 19in LCD Monitor, which is suprising

  • Monitor Response Times

I have my eyes on a Samsung 930B and I realized that it claims a whoppin' 8ms response time, which I would desire. However I have discovered that marketers are distancing themselves from the ISO standard, using only a "Gray-to-Gray" measurement. I was wondering if anybody knew how much of a difference the two really are and their impact on their claimed

  • RE: My Monitor

My father has that exact same screen. Seems to run games just fine and looks great with text/graphics, etc. 25ms response time isnt ideal for intense gaming like he said. I got my eye on a Samsung 930B which has 8ms response time. The monitor you have, you won't be dissatisfied with, I can tell you that. Good monitor for gaming, runs fine, but simply

  • RE: Apple buys Intel Cpus

One of my friends still thinks that MACs are superior, which I think is funny because XP is so much better (from the gaming side of me anyways). I use this little event as evidence for Windows' Superiority. =)
