Here’s the bad news: Hyperkin’s RetroN 5, a gaming console that incorporates and accommodates a host of vintage game cartridges, will be delayed until Q1 2014 because of some faulty pins that the company discovered on some of its packaged units. Thus, the console won’t be available until the holidays, so you won’t be unwrapping one and blowing your holiday days off ensconced in vintage gaming bliss. However, the good news is that the RetroN 5 exists, and you’ll be able to have one early next year. The primary upgrade from the RetroN 4 to the RetroN 5 concerns the addition... Read more...
This isn't new news, and it shouldn't be a shock to historians, but every now and then, it's really good to reach back and grab some perspective. The work will always continue, but at some point the program at least accomplishes the original, or in this case, realistic goal. The WINE website now has posted a list of programs that are planned to work properly, constituting... Read more...
