The creative folks at Lenovo are ready to hit the ground running when Windows 8 ships on October 26th. In preparation for "Windows 8 Day," as we'll call it, Lenovo is debuting this evening four funktastic looking convertible notebooks, each with their own twist on the flexible form factor, including one device aptly named "Twist." Our buddy Fudo over at The Inquirer reports that ATI and NVIDIA will be taking dramatically different approaches for their next-generation flagship GPU's. On one hand, we see ATI lobbying developers to focus more on the number of Pixel Operations instead of the number of Pixels per Clock. In contrast, NVIDIA is pushing for the exact opposite approach to be favored by games with their heavy emphasis on the number of Pixels per Clock. Anyone else buy HL2 and then become a tad angry when they found out the only multiplayer aspects of it are graphical updates of games you've already played hundreds of times before? Well apparently there is some type of multiplayer for HL2! Check this out! It's still in it's infancy, but at least we know it can be done. With some excellent user created maps, and some fine tuning, this could turn out to be one hell of a multiplayer game!
