Acer has just released a spate of new machines in their TimelineX series, a bodaciously titled set of machines that have been refreshed with a new design, new entertainment features and battery life to swoon over. These are still aiming to be thin-and-light machines, adding extra juice as well as Dolby audio, with all of the new models becoming available in North America today. Acer refreshed its line of Aspire TimelineX notebooks. The new Aspire TimelineX 1830T-68U118 boasts of a battery life of up to eight hours. This 11.6-inch notebook weighs just over three pounds and is powered by an Intel Core i7 680UM processor. Acer also announced three additional Acer TimelineX models that tout eight-hour battery life and Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processors.
