Intel has a message for all the NAND-based storage gurus: "Honey, I shrunk the X25 solid state drive!" That's essentially the idea behind Intel's new SSD 310 series, an ultra-small drive Intel claims delivers X25-class performance in a form factor that's 1/8th the size.
