Microsoft has just announced its new SideWinder X3 gaming mouse, which marks Microsoft's first SideWinder mouse that can be used by both right and left-handed gamers. Not only is the mouse ambidextrous, but it also comes in at the relatively inexpensive price of $39.95, which should make gamers on a budget very happy. Microsoft's latest gaming mouse, the SideWinder X8, is about to hit the physical store and virtual online shelves for an estimated price of $99.95. Microsoft originally announced the 4,000-dpi, wireless, Microsoft BlueTrack Technology-based, gaming mouse last September, and promised that it would be available by February 2009--it looks like Microsoft will deliver it on time with just days to spare. Early this morning, Microsoft will reveal two new additions to the SideWinder gaming line – the SideWinder X6 Keyboard and SideWinder X5 Mouse. The SideWinder X6 Keyboard is the first gaming keyboard created by Microsoft from the ground up, and the only gaming keyboard on the market with a switchable key pad for powerful versatility.
