Samsung isn’t the only company rolling out Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates to its phones. HTC announced that 16 of its handsets with get the ICS treatment, although details on exactly when that will happen are spare. We do know that HTC is in the “early stages” of pushing the update to HTC Sensation and Sensation SE devices, with Sensation 4G and Sensation XL to follow shortly thereafter. Recognizing that people want to get their hands on Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC has announced a few phones in the company's lineup that will be the first to receive the update. These phones include the HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XL, HTC Sensation XE, HTC Rezound, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G, and HTC Amaze 4G. Looks like HTC has quietly slipped its users a spying app that tracks an alarming amount of user behavior and sends that data off to itself and perhaps others via a mysterious service in the cloud. The snooping app came nestled with the 2.3.4 Android update pushed out to some of its smartphones such as the Sensation 4G and EVO 4G. We've seen that companies who actively listen and respond positively to their customers always end up winning. It's the companies that ignore the obvious feedback that end up having to worry. HTC is one of those companies who have gone out of their way in order to address some of the loudest concerns of their users. Most recently, that has involved the bootloader.
