You may have noticed that RockBand.com, DanceCentral.com, and Creators.RockBand.com are all down. That's because Harmonix pulled the plug on each of the three websites in order to investigate what it believes is a hacker attack. As a precaution, Harmonix passwords have been disabled, and users who have accounts on any of the affected sites will have to reset their password when everything is back up and running again. "The security of your Harmonix user information is very important to us. We’ve taken the sites down while we investigate this incident and determine how our systems and the... Read more...
Altec Lansing has already busted this market wide open, but now the audio lovers over at Polk are looking to take their shot, too. He also added that it was he who sold the ideas to the various partners. This is in fact the first foray for The Beatles (as opposed to individual members) into the digital marketplace; Beatles music has never been available... Read more...
Look out, Guitar Hero! Rock Band has swiftly and decidedly moved back into the lead with this one, and honestly, we have no idea how you're going to rival it. Yes, it's true. The Beatles, of all bands, are getting their very own installment of Rock Band, and considering that only Elvis Presley is on the same level of name recognition with these guys, the pickings are slim for the Guitar Hero franchise to hit back with any sort of competition. Somehow, someway, MTV Games managed to coerce those in charge of The Beatles to allow The Beatles: Rock Band to be created. Described as an "unprecedented,... Read more...
