With another holiday season on the horizon, and Black Friday even closer, leave it to Sony to introduce a new console. Well, a reshaped console. For the second time, Sony's PlayStation 3 is getting a makeover. It'll be the thinnest PS3 yet, and it's becoming something of a trend for Sony to start thick and work its way into thinner versions of the same console as time drags on. Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity postulates that such waves exist, but it's never been proven. He also says that the console's Cell processor, co-developed by Sony, IBM and Toshiba, can deliver massive amounts... It's currently being offered with a 60 gigabyte drive. It's unclear whether that means the more powerful offering is destined to be offered elsewhere anytime soon. "Increasing capacity for models is one of the options," said Satoshi Fukuoka, spokesman for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. "We make such decisions depending on the needs of the market, and every country is different." The 80-gigabyte version will start selling... Read more...
