For awhile, we figured that the digital photo frame had played its last card and it wouldn't be long before we saw the frames of yesteryear popping up in bargain bins everywhere as retailers made room for more enticing wares. Evidently that's not at all the plan, as it seems that digital frame makers are instead opting to spruce up their existing designs in order to milk all they can from the segment. We've already seen a bundle of frames with integrated printing units, and now Panasonic is deviating even further with its MW-10. At first we assumed that digital photo frames with integrated printers were just some sort of sideshow. And who knows, maybe they are. But one thing is for sure--they just keep coming and coming. The next on the list is the iMo Foto Frame Photo Printer, which is actually being sold by the same folks who engineered the Mimo line of USB-based secondary monitors. The company claims that this is the world's first patented device to combine display and printing capabilities, but we're not so sure based on the others that we've seen emerge before it. At any rate, there's a 8" 800x600 display for showing... Read more...
It's almost the holiday season--do you know what that means? It was once a cutting-edge technology, but a lack of innovation in the sector has caused it to fall flat.Seiko Epson is evidently eager to spark things back up, with its new Colorio Me printer actually doubling as a digital photo frame. This is just one example of the outfit hoping... Read more...
Digital photo frames have been gaining traction in the market for years now, and with prices on them continually spiraling downward, more and more of 'em are being used as gifts and whatnot to decorate the modern home. What more could you ask, right? The company's new trifect, which are features in House Beautiful Magazine's Kitchen of the Year, take the digital photo frame to the next logical level.
