Google on Monday, just in time for Macworld, announced that Picasa for the Mac has finally arrived, albeit in beta form. Google had previously offered a standalone Picasa Web Albums uploader and an iPhoto plugin for Mac OS, but Mac users were trailing both Windows and Linux in terms of a full-blown Picasa implementation.Though still in beta, Picasa for the Mac has most of the features of the 3.0 Windows version.
