Comcast is trying out a little something new this back-to-school season. At select colleges, Comcast will offer its "Xfinity On Campus" service that lets college students watch live TV and On Demand content on their Internet enabled devices, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones while on campus. Amazon customers, watch your e-mail inboxes carefully today. You might be one of the select few who get invited to try out Amazon's new Video On Demand Service, which is scheduled to rollout today for a limited, invitation-only debut. Amazon's Unbox service requires proprietary software and runs only on Windows-based computers and TiVo set-top boxes.... Read more...
