Google sure is on a roll when it comes to making our lives easier just by using its immensely popular search engine. Version 8 of Lotus Notes and Domino was released today by IBM.  As well as new features, a major focus of the latest release is the modernization of the user interface, which some claim has been stuck in the Stone Age, and which has annoyed users to the point that Notes anti-fan sites have been created. The changes are the result of building the Version 8 client on top of the company's Eclipse-based rich client platform, according to IBM officials. Yahoo Finance has just posted notes from NVIDIA's financial earnings conference call yesterday. Here, the company saw a record revenue of $681.8 million compared to $583.8 million for this quarter last year. Some highlights include an increase of 34% for notebook growth as well as an announced partnership with Intel which will pair GoForce handheld GPU's with Intel's latest XScale processors.
