An Xbox Live customer has filed a class-action lawsuit against Microsoft, alleging that the company has been renewing subscriptions and double-billing customers without their consent. The suit was filed by Ryan Graves, an Indiana resident that claims Microsoft's pre-paid subscriptions are "governed by vague and onerous terms of use." Graves claims that he let his automatically-renewing Xbox Live subscription expire by declining to update his credit card information, and that when he renewed the account several months later with a new card, he was charged for both the new subscription and the previously... The trend towards DRM-free music seems to be giving Dell the notion that the market's ready for another digital music player. They tried to sell MP3 players five years ago, but got washed away in the Apple iPod tsunami and gave up in 2006. There's a whiff of "me too" about anybody trying to make portable music players now; Apple's devices are so ubiquitous that people call any such device "an iPod" at this point. We earlier wrote that Microsoft's fake OS, Mojave, had birthed its own website.  The idea, a sort of blind taste test among Vista critics, was surprisingly successful with an overwhelming number of respondents liking the OS.  The website was, starting today, designed to show videos of the respondents, and indeed that part of the site has launched.For those new to the Mojave Experiment, it's a focus group effort we initiated a few weeks ago. There seems to be some confusion in the Microsoft camp as to whether or not XP will continue on or not.  A spokeswoman for the Redmond giant had this to say:"We feel we've made the right accommodations for customers in certain segments who may need more time to transition to Windows Vista," she said. "But as [CEO] Steve [Ballmer] noted, we maintain a constant stance of listening to our customers and our partners.
