When I think of Lamborghinis, I think of flashy automobiles that are as much about making an in-your-face visual statement as they are about clipping apexes and hurtling you and your passenger to near (or surpassing) 200 mph. But Lamborghini isn’t just about fast sports cars (or four-door sedans and crossovers if you can wait a few years) — the company also has lent it name out to notebook computers and PC peripherals over the years. And soon, the Lamborghini name will grace an Android smartphone called the 88 Tauri. The smartphone is being produced by the Tonino Lamborghini Group and will come... Read more...
It’s hard to imagine that the words “supercar” and “fuel-efficient” would go in the same sentence. But those are two words, among others, that are being used to describe Lamborghini’s latest concept car, the Asterion LPI-910 hybrid supercar, which was unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show Boasting an 897 horsepower V10 engine, the all wheel drive Asterion can go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds and will hit a top speed of 199 mph. But despite the massive power behind it, the car is able to get 57 miles per gallon while keeping its CO2 emissions to 98 g/km.... Read more...
Italians make the best food (I won't debate this) and without a doubt some of the sexist cars too, most notably Automobili's Lamborghini line. Sexy often borders on obscene, such as the brand spanking new Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, an open racing prototype boasting an "extreme design" and "breathtaking performance" to celebrate the vehicle maker's 50th anniversary. Under the hood, the Veneno Roadster packs 750 horses nestled inside its 6.5-liter V12 engine. It goes from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (0 to just over 62 miles per hour) in a mere 2.9 seconds. Keep the pedal to the medal and you'll... Read more...
Even a used Lamborghini is going to set you back six figures, and unless you have plenty left over in the bank, could also result in a divorce. Why risk such personal turmoil when you can spend a mere $800 on a new 2010 model Lamborghini? If that sounds too good be to be true, it's because it is. The Lamborghini we're referring too doesn't sport a V12 engine, leather interior, or even wheels, and instead is the latest laptop by Tonino. It is, however, an elegantly designed notebook with a glossy black finish and 13.4 inches of widescreen real estate, just don't expect to race circles around your... Read more...
Wow, talk about a power play. Asus is pulling out all the stops at CeBIT this year, introducing a flood of new motherboards and now, a flood of new notebooks. The most notable newcomer that will be showcased this week is the LAMBORGHINI VX5, a 16 inch speed demon of a laptop that was inspired by the limited edition Lamborghini Reventón. The machine will get powered by a potent Intel Core 2 Quad processor and will feature 4GB of memory, a 1TB SSD (yes, 1TB!), a Full High Definition LCD, NVIDIA's 1GB (GDDR3) GeForce GT 130M and an illuminated "Chiclet" style keyboard that will likely feel much like...   Although the mobile market is full of rather bland and painfully similar designs, there are a handful of notebook vendors which have created unique products to stand out from the crowd. Typically acting as the company's flagship notebook, these systems generally offer performance which is equally as impressive as their sleek designs and aesthetics. In similar fashion, ASUS has worked closely with the famed Italian automobile manufacturer Lamborghini to bring the new VX1 notebook to market.
