I don't even want to try and calculate the amount of time I've wasted playing Temple Run, the popular endless runner app by Imangi Studios that spawned a sequel and several knockoff titles, including a couple of officially licensed spinoffs for Disney's Brave and Oz movies. It's kind of ironic that a game classified as an endless runner would race to 50 million downloads in just shy of two weeks, making it the fastest growing mobile of all time. Temple Run 2, the game in question, also sprinted to the No. 1 spot in iOS's Free Apps category not long after it launched on January 17, as well as taking pole position on Google Play and Amazon Marketplace.
