Remember those awful Genius ads Apple began airing during the Olympics? Reactions to the ads were overwhelmingly negative and were somewhat surprising for a multi-billion dollar company known for more creative ad spots that typically focused on the product. Genius added a new gaming headset to the GX Gaming Series. The smart folks at Genius recently kicked off their foray into the camcorder business with the launch of the G-Shot HD575T. The G-Shot is a hybrid high-definition touchscreen optical camcorder with "one of the slimmest" profiles around, the company claims, but despite its comparatively thin stature, it's capable of shooting Full HD 1080p video and snapping up to 16-megapixel still images with software interpolation.
