When a game developer releases a demo, it's typically intended to entice players into first trying and then purchasing the full version. In keeping with that goal, demo versions of a game are (usually) designed to be fun. This is the stuff of Game Design 101 for most of us, but a crack team of cutting-edge gaming researchers at Sony have applied for a patent based on a novel concept—game demos that become progressively less fun the more you play. AMD Demos 45nm Native Quad-Core Processors for Server, Desktop — Customer Testing of Product Samples Underway — HANNOVER, Germany. -- March 4, 2008 --AMD (NYSE: AMD) demonstrated at the CeBit electronics exhibition its first 45nm quad-core chips running multiple operating systems and a range of processing intensive applications. Corsair is reading DDR3 memory modules in preparation for the impending launch of Intel's Bearlake chipset.  It seems Corsair is not only planning on supporting 1333MHz DDR3 with Bearlake, but is also prepping DDR3-1600 modules as well. "There are 800 and 1066 flavours here, and 1333 running in the labs. Corsair will not launch until there are chipsets that use the RAM, but when that happens in a few months, it expects to also have DDR3/1600 available.
