Square Enix is set to release Final Fantasy XV to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this month. It's the fifteenth main installment in the Final Fantasy series, one of the most popular gaming franchises that has been sending players on quests for nearly three decades. Final Fantasy has stood the test of time, but can it stand up to scrutiny by Conan O'Brien, otherwise known as The Clueless Gamer? Anyone familiar with The Clueless Gamer knows what to expect from a Conan O'Brien evaluation—lots of laughs, basically. This time around, avid gamer and fantasy actor Elijah Wood comes along for the... Read more...
What’s better than Conan O’Brien attempting to plow his way through Gears of War 4 on an Xbox One? A half-baked Conan O’Brien attempting to plow his way through Gears of War 4 on an Xbox One, of course. In the latest edition of Clueless Gamer, Conan invited rapper Wiz Khalifa for some uproarious co-op play in the latest Gears title. As Conan puts it, “This is one of the most intense, brutal, violent and disturbing games out there.” However, given the rather heavy themes involved in Gear of War 4, Conan wanted to mellow things out, so Wiz brought plenty of “vegetables” to keep an even keel during... You can always count on comedians to be ready to pounce whenever Apple comes out with a new iPhone design, and with the recently announced iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the Cupertino outfit made it all too easy. As you're probably well aware by now, Apple decided to nix the standard 3.5mm audio jack from its new iPhones in favor of going wireless with a set of Bluetooth AirPods (sold separately, of course), or you can use its proprietary Lightning connector. Well, Conan O'Brien used the decision as an opportunity to throw shade at Apple in a spoof advertisement that's reminiscent of the silhouette... Read more...
Conan O'Brien is the type of comedian that people tend to either really like or loathe. As for me, I'm a fan of his infectious personality and find him hilarious, especially when he sits down to play and review video games—or in this case, just get riled up playing Doom with a couple of NFL players headed to the Super Bowl. Playing the recurring role of Clueless Gamer, Conan sits in a "cheap Marriott conference room" flanked by Josh Norman, a cornerback for the Carolina Panthers, and Von Miller, a linebacker for the Denver Broncos. Before they even get to any gameplay, Conan brings up the fact... Read more...
Ah, those USB ports. From 1.0 to 2.0 to the upcoming 3.0, they are near ubiquitous, so much so that Firewire has taken a back seat. And speaking of back seats, since Jay Leno left the Tonight Show, Conan O'Brien has taken a back seat to David Letterman as well. In an attempt to raise his ratings, O'Brien interviewed one of Intel's rock stars, Ajay Bhatt, the co-inventor of the USB port. Interestingly, as Conan mentioned, Ajay Bhatt was featured in one of Intel's own rock star ad (above) was a fake, an actor. Conan interviewed the real Bhatt. Additionally, Bhatt appeared in a snarky ad put up by... Read more...
