One of the criticized "features" of the iPhone since day one has been the lack of a user-swappable battery. For any heavy user, the fact that you can no longer rely on being able to carry a spare battery for a long day of use, but rather, a charger, has been a sore point. On Thursday, Nintendo announced a new Nintendo DS "platform" as it called it, the Nintendo DSi.  Similar in look to the DS Lite, it has some evolutionary changes.  Nothing revolutionary, though.  And the company will continue to ship the DS Lite.For example, the screens are slightly larger, at 3.25".  The device is slimmer, about 12%, due to the dropping of the GBA slot.  It will, however, include an SD slot.  Additionally, it gains an external 3 megapixel camera and an internal 0.3 megapixel camera, and music playback capability.  It also features a built-in... In June Microsoft agreed to modify the built-in desktop search feature in Vista, in hopes of staving off another Justice Department battle, as well as to assuage Google.  On Wednesday Microsoft outlined the upcoming changes, which will appear in Vista Service Pack 1.The primary impact of the change is giving Vista users who choose a non-Microsoft option for desktop search more outlets to see those search results, as opposed to the results generated by Vista's built in desktop search engine.
