Glasses-free 3D -- it's the wave of the future, man. Actually, the jury is still out on 3D as a whole, but that won't stop a flood of companies from trying to hop on the bandwagon at CES next year. Stream TV Networks is preparing to launch a new 3D-without-glasses product line at the convention, using a proprietary Ultra-D technology. Stream TV Networks is the producer of the eLocity brand of mobile tablets launched first in 2010, the Ultra-D technology is strictly proprietary and leverages custom hardware, middleware techniques and software algorithms to create unprecedentedautostereoscopic 3D... Wouldn't it be great if 2012 turned out to be the year of the IPS panel? We don't want to get our hopes up just yet, but there are encouraging signs that point to this being a real possibility. Throughout the course of the year, we've seen IPS panels drop in price to the point where you can pick up a 21.5-inch model for $160, or a 23-inch IPS monitor for less than $200. These are the exception to the rule, but it's a start, and at least one manufacturer is planning to blitz CES 2012 with a new line of IPS displays. LG announced it will unveil its 2012 IPS monitor lineup at the convention in Las... Read more...

"We’ll continue to participate in CES as a great place to connect with partners and customers across the PC, phone and entertainment industries, but we won’t have a keynote or booth after... Know who has a few new Ice Cream Sandwich tablets coming out at CES 2012? Coby. It's a company you may not have heard of, but we're thinking this will be just one of many new ultra-cheap Android tablets designed to finally compete with iPad on a level where they can actually compete: price. Android 4.0 is bound to make a major splash at the upcoming electronics show, with five new models coming from Coby alone. "Coby is thrilled to announce our premiere range of feature-packed Android 4.0-powered Internet tablets that will put the world in consumers' hands as never before," said Jodi Sally, Vice...
