Generally speaking, point and shoot cameras look like point and shoot cameras. Most are designed relatively similar to one another. They're almost all rectangular, with the thickness being the most notable differentiator. But Casio isn't satisfied with crafting yet another plain camera, and the new TRYX definitely isn't plain or normal in any way. It's easily one of the oddest, most unique camera designs we have seen in a while, and we think Casio's engineering team did a great job with it. Casio unveiled what it is calling "the world’s first Hybrid GPS enabled digital camera." The new EXILIM EX-H20G features Casio's Hybrid GPS technology, which combines GPS with autonomic positioning made possible by an internal motion sensor. This technology enables the camera to geotag your images, even if they are taken indoors. The EX-H20G can display your current location as well as geotagged photos and videos on a map. Casio has been kicking out digital cameras like a boss, including a handful of new point-n-shoots just announced today. One of those is the new EXILIM EX-ZR10, a zoom-friendly camera Casio claims integrates high-speed shooting and high-speed image processing all rolled into one. Casio goes to great lengths trying to convince the HDR crowd this is the point-n-shoot for them. Don't worry, you're not going through another episode of déjà vu if Casio's Card EX-S200 and Zoom EX-Z800 sound eerily familiar. These are the same two additions to the EXILIM family of digital cameras Casio launched in Tokyo last month, and now they're both headed for the U.S. market. Casio announced four new point and shoot digital cameras at CES 2010. The high speed EX-FH100 boasts of a maximum burst rate of 40 shots per second at a "reduced" resolution of 9 megapixels with a 30 shot maximum. This 10.1 megapixel camera also has a wide-angle 24 mm 10X optical zoom lens and up to 1,000 fps high-speed movie recording. Earlier this year, Panasonic, Fujifilm, and Canon announced rugged cameras that could withstand drops, water, and much more. Casio announced two new additions to the EXILIM digital camera lineup that attempt to make it even easier to take good photos. For starters, the new EXILIM Zoom EX-Z450 and EXILIM Zoom EX-Z90 feature Intelligent AF, a new function that can detect your photographic subject and adjust the focus and exposure of the image accordingly.
