You have to love a portable media card reader for its usefulness and portability, but today, Kingston Digital announced that it has improved on its MobileLite G3 by adding USB 3.0 support for the latest iteration. The new MobileLite G3 is of course backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and also supports SD/SDHC/SDXC, microSD/SDHC/SDXC, and Memory Stick Pro Duo. Although the device is compatible with most Windows and Linux OSes, USB 3.0 functionality apparently won’t work on Macs.
