Zopo: A 5.7-inch Tegra 3-Powered Android Phablet with 32MP Camera on the Way From China

Here we thought having a 13-megapixel (MP) rear-facing camera on a mobile device was something special -- pshaw! Zobo, a mobile player in China and other territories, is throwing down the gauntlet with a 5.7-inch phablet that carries a 32MP rear-facing cam -- holy overkill, Batman! Of course, there's more to the quality of a camera than the megapixel account alone, but with a 32MP lens, photo buffs will be able to take some ultra high-resolution photos on-the-go.

Zopo announced the device on its Facebook page and shared just a few other details, such as:
  • 5.7-inch phablet
  • Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz
  • 32MP rear-facing camera; 5MP front-facing camera
  • 3D Stereo gaming

Zopo ZP950

This has all the makings of a powerhouse, provided Zopo doesn't gimp the device with anything less than 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. Oh, and here's hoping it has a big enough battery to keep it up and running for hours on end. Based on other devices Zopo sells, we also assume the above will come rocking Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
