You Want XP? You Can HAVE It!

So all we have to do is complain enough and they'll keep it around longer.  Sound good to me.  Let the nagging begin! 

 So why not just release Windows 7 and call it "Windows XP-2" -- I bet their sales would fly through the roof!!!!

The thing is that most people who are buying new computers are not computer-tech savy.. and just buy the computer with whatever O.S. comes as long as it's "Windows".... As soon as they get their new pc, that's when complains begin.

So they're saying that about people buying computers with Vista instead of XP mostly because they don't know what they're getting and also maybe because they don't have an option.

Very true.  Even with the few companies that allow you to choose, you have to actively ask for XP.  Most people don't think about it or know about it.  But when I see families with Vista machines, often they are not happy with the OS.  Too late by then though.  They don't have the knowledge, capability, or will (since they would be losing files) to install another OS.

 I really hope that Windows Xp will remain on the market with full support,and by support I mean patches for security,until they will release a better OS.I do not see Vista being a better OS even after SP2.
