Windows XP SP1 Support Ends in 4 Days
This is a friendly reminder to those of you who still haven't upgraded to Windows XP SP2 that Microsoft will end support for SP1 on Tuesday. This means that after Tuesday, users running SP1 will no longer be able to receive security updates unless they upgrade to SP2.
I know many of you have stayed away from SP2 because some of the new features rub you the wrong way. The Security Center application, especially. Here is a little guide on how to disable Security Center alerts, or disable Security Center completely.
