Multi-Touch is one of the latest innovations for human computer interaction. First widely used in Apple iPhone devices, the technology has since delivered exceptionally simple user interface, intuitive and direct manipulation on visual objects without clicking menus or typing commands.

"Computer system goes too complex today. People forget to use computers the easy way," said Frank Lee, VP of PQ-DVD. Computer software and user interfaces are undergoing a revolution within the next few years. Software need to be more easy to use. People will be switching from WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) to WYTIWYG (What You Touch Is What You Get), where you not only see the visual object on the screen, but also be able to interact with it by just touching. The virtual world rendered by the computer is now under direct manipulation from the physical world using your fingers.

The Multi-Touch iTunes-like app utilizes Windows 7's latest Multi-Touch support. Together with the latest large screen Multi-Touch hardware, users can directly synchronize and play with iPod/iPhone music, photos and videos on a large LCD TV. The software will also support other mobile phones such as T-Mobile G1 (Android) as well as digital cameras in the near future. It allows wireless connection and synchronization between the computer and supported devices, just like Microsoft surface.

I don't understand the part of this being a part of Windows 7? If you look closely at the desktop it's very clear to see that its not Windows 7, but OS X! The icons, their placement and the Mac's menu bar are unmistakable!

So this will work on Apple devices even without iTunes. The UI seems to be that user friendly like in iTunes. I will recommend this to my office mates at NY ipad keyboard designing firm, for sure they will amaze on this.
