I think it's a good idea, and will compete well with the 32" HD Ready TV's which are around the same price. Although some may argue that 24" is too small for a Full HD experience. |

Viewsonic makes some nice displays, but I have never been a fan of the glossy bezels they seem to always use. |

size and resolution are dependant on viewing distance. If your looking at it from 10 feet away then I agree 1080p is a waste of money but if it's mounted say in your kitchen or say a laundry room where the viewing distance is relatively close then it's not a bad idea. |
