Verizon Wireless Puts BlackBerry Bold 9930 On Sale: $250 With Contract
RIM's once stellar outlook from a few years back has dimmed somewhat recently, but that's not stopping the company from keeping the hardware flowing. The Bold 9930 is their latest on Verizon Wireless, and it's available starting today for $249.99 on a 2-year contract.
It's one of RIM's slimmer QWERTY-equipped devices, and offers a 2.8" (640x480) touch screen, 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU, and a chassis that's only 0.41" thick. It also ships with the latest version of BlackBerry OS 7, and a somewhat mysterious launch date; despite being on sale today (it's also available for $510 without a contract requirement), there's no definitive ship date as of yet.
