Yay something else to fill my trash bin with :D I have never found any of these types of emails to be accurate with my interests. And even though it says it will be about engaging updates, I highly doubt it! - "This new email digest also features the most engaging Tweets seen by the people you follow, even if you don’t follow those who wrote them." - If I don't follow them to begin with, chances are I don't want to see their tweets lol. Not to mention, eventually all companies will have to do is pay Twitter and their updates will make it in those emails. It will be another advertising $$$ pit. Good for them, so they stay free, but I hope it will be easy to stop the emails if one chooses to do so... Facebook started doing this a while back and I have tried and tried to stop the emails by changing my notifications, even making it so I don't get any emails at all from FB, but of course, I still get the dreaded email telling me a bunch of my friends updated their statuses, or "welcome back to Facebook, this is what you missed blah blah"... Hopefully with Twitter it won't be as hard to stop the spam. Thanks for the heads up! |
