Steve Wozniak Interviewed After Steve Jobs' Passing

Sometimes, images are worth a thousand words. Sometimes, videos are worth even more. Steve Jobs is the man most commonly associated with Apple, but he's actually just half of the duo that created the company. Steve Wozniak, the other Steve, is the vital second part. Woz considers himself the engineer of the two, while Jobs handled business. Woz has never backed down from his technologist roots, today acting in some capacity with both Apple and Fusion-io. Needless to say, Woz was hit hard by the death of his long-time friend and co-worker, and the interview below shortly after hearing the news is a real tear-jerker. It really adds a layer of humanness to all of this. It's worth a watch.

These two men changed the PC landscape for sure and the world is a better place for it today.

I was wondering when we were going to hear from the Woz on this. As far as it all goes he was the other half. Woz actually made the machines, Jobs was the idea man. There would be no Apple without either of these two men, not to mention they grew up together from very young. I am sure it has to be hard for him as well with this, and I am also sure a lot of people have no clue who WOZ is.

I know who the Woz is and I've seen various bits of this play out on local and network news; from the snippets I've seen he must really seem to cherish Jobs as a national icon and he admires his personality and the innovation that came from it; plus the two were close friends/business partners.

The Woz may not be as recognized as Steve Jobs but he is a major player in the technology industry and he has somewhat of a cult following.

They knew each other for a very long time & had to get along in business, so they got use to each other. But I thought that after the split up & then Apple buying out steve jobs new company that steve jobs just stayed on because he wanted to see some kind of a success. Do not forget that it was steve wozniak that owned Apple & not the other way around.

My condolences go to Wozniak the two were obviously closer than most people realized. It nice to see that business does not ruin all friendships.
