Sony's PlayStation 3 Turns Five Years Old

And I still remember the huge dent the first one left in our wallet!! I can't believe how much they use to cost when I look at the price now lol

When I say "first" one, I mean the one my EX husband still has, which still works perfectly too.  Mine and my current bf's is going on 3 years old and no problems with it either. As long as nobody messes around with modding and such they are pretty solid machines.

When Sony came out with the PS3 they were ahead of the game (literally, - like mentioned above, some games are just starting to use the PS3's full capabilities), and in my opinion they still are. :)

I still play my 60gb at LEAST 8 hours a day, and the old girl's never given me a problem. I love you too, PS3!

Happy birthday PS3! Even though I never bought one of you, you still gave game designers the inspiration to tap into the power of the PS3 to deliver decent games and you still manage to have fans even though two of the members account information got released in the wild...
