"Take away the IR remote (and, to an extend, DLNA support), you're left with an average tablet that struggles to compete with better equipped full-size and lower price three-quarter size tablets."Slashing a C-note off the MSRP helps Sony's case, but unless street pricing dips to around $350, the Tablet S will likely struggle to stand out from the crowd.

Sony shouldve just held off until Tegra 3. They were already so late, why not? Now they have a not so good, not so popular tablet. |

At least this price cut brings this tablet in line with many others pricing. It certainly is not for me though... They should have done this before the holiday though to cash in on the busiest shopping part of the year. |

Before the price cut, this tablet was $419.99 for Sony Rewards members, now the price went back to $499.99. How come?? |
