Samsung Series 5 Notebooks Receive AMD Trinity Treatment

Paul, how about a head-to-head between the 14" Ivy Bridge sporting a Core i5 3210M and the Series 5 535 with an A 10-4655M APU described above ? I find the TN panels with 1366 x 768 resolution on these notebooks disappointing, especially coming from a leader in screen innovation like Samsung, but hopefully in the near future, manufacturers will deem it worth their while to provide users with better screens....

The A6-4455M is a dual-core processor. The A10-4655m is a quad-core.

(Samsung's product sheet for the 13-inch model incorrectly lists the A6-4455M as "quad-core." Somebody in Samsung's marketing department messed up.)

Wuchengt, I did indeed see the chart - but as I pointed out above, the fault is not that of the article author, but of Samsung, for releasing contradictory information....

I did not assign fault in my post above but since you brought it up, I wonder: Whose fault is it that a couple days after being notified of a factual error in a story, the author and his editor(s) still haven't bothered to correct it?

This guys post was a partial copy of your post, just a cut and paste of your link. The guy is a SPAMMER (or a Bot) because he's hiding links in his posts. With respect to the question of contradictory messages from Samsung - as per NotRappaport's link and that provided in my reply above - when I now access the latter, I find that it has been corrected and  the A6-4455M found on the Series 5 535 13.3” Notebook is indeed confirmed to be a dual-core processor. Thus, like NotRappaport, I submit that the first period in the second paragraph of the above article, which begins «The Samsung Series 5 535 13.3-inch (1366x768 resolution) laptop sports an AMD quad-core A6-4455M APU clocked at 2.1GHz ...» should be corrected to reflect this fact....

Correcting errors (even if they are not the fault of the author, as in this case), goes a long way to preserving credibility....
