Hulu is giddy about a redesigned Apple TV app it just released, and Apple TV users should be just as excited. After all, it's been about a long time since Hulu touched the app, and this latest update purportedly offers an entirely new experience built "from the ground up" with an emphasis on making it easier to find favorite TV episodes and discover new shows.
"When redesigning the experience, we looked for ways to grant you instant access to exactly what you want to watch. Once you decide on the show you want to watch, simply press the 'Play' button and the latest episode of the series will automatically start playing," Hulu explained in a blog post.

The redesigned app adds content categories across the top navigation bar, and inside each one users will quickly discover what's new in Hulu's content library. It's a similar interface to the one Apple uses for its iTunes store. Users can also jump to their favorite shows via a new "Shows You Watch" tray.
"We built this to make sure you never miss a new episode or lose your place in a series," Hulu said.
To make the most out of the new app, you'll need to be running the latest firmware on your Apple TV device. You can do this by going to "Settings" on the Apple TV home screen and choosing "Update Software" from the "General" section.
