Promise Keeper Smartphone App Tattles When You Don't Exercise
They don't even skirt around the issue; they suggest that by using peer pressure, the Promise Keeper acts to keep you loyal to your goals. It links up with your friends, and if you aren't keeping up on running, they'll be notified. Not an ideal experience. If you don't want your pals nagging you about how you aren't keeping those daily runs active, you'll need to prove to the app that you are indeed running. When you sign up, you'll get your own running calendar. Just book your runs and The Promise Keeper will make sure to tell your friends by using your Facebook and/or Twitter. If you then don't actually go for your runs The Promise Keeper will tell them this too. This will make it virtually impossible for you to ignore your runs without hearing about it. You will of course need to grant The Promise Keeper rights to do so and you can drop out at any time.

The app will track your runs through GPS and save your running history for you to keep. You will also be able to share your runs through Facebook, Twitter or e-mail by your own choice. And of course, if you get too tired of your friends nagging you, you can always uninstall the app. We guess that "promise keeper" part only works if you keep the software around for it to send out alerts...
