>> One may wonder why all of this information was so readily available at all, and one may also wonder why he didn't arrange for his escape via email. I could change the payroll system at will, but I don't. Being a hacker doesn't make you a criminal or guilty of further criminal thoughts... even though this guy was... a criminal. |
Haha, I wonder what constitutes as hacking? Maybe he just figured out the admin password...most likely "1234" |
lol "1234'? I have to go change the combo to my luggage now! I have to think they weren't able to find out if he sold or let out the people's personal info if he only got additional years of probation added. You have to assume he is only getting punished for doing prohibited things while incarcerated. |

There was probably a folder on the desktop that said "Do not open" lol just so happened to have all the prison data in that folder lol It's not hard to find information on a network when you on a computer that is a member of the network. Even if they don't share all of there folders, it's not hard to get access to ever single file on every single computer if their security is not setup right lol |
Lol, most likely. Great way to hide something, just label it "Top Secret" or "Confidential". I like to label all my secret folders with complicated names such as, "Classic fluctuation test of Luria and Delbruck in use of a bacteriophage that is unable to lysogenize the host" Keeps my gf out of my porn stash! |
I give my folders a blank name, no folder icon, and hidden. Good luck finding that! lol |

Oh and, as for using the email and getting internet access etc. He probably just used a proxy server and whoever setup their stuff didn't think to disable that ability d'oh! |
